Summer School
French as a Foreign Language (FLE) Summer School is co-organized by Toulouse INP and INSA Toulouse.
The three-week program of the FLE Summer School boasts a warm and pleasant environment designed to facilitate your cultural and linguistic adaptation and ease your path into engineering and science studies in France
Highlights
- Improve your proficiency in French (or start from scratch!) according to your level
- Develop authentic skills in scientific French, working on scientific projects alongside other students

Program
INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSE
60 hours of FLE lessons over three weeks (20 hours per week)
All lessons are taught by certified French teachers. Following a placement test conducted prior to arrival, classes are organized in small groups by proficiency level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Students can validate one ECTS credit per week.
Cultural activities
Cultural outings to discover Toulouse & the Occitanie region
Visits to the Aeroscopia Museum and Airbus site
Sporting and cultural activities
Rest assured, local students will support and assist you throughout your stay !

If you would like to participate in the Summer School, please follow the application steps below:
1- Click on the registration button and complete the application procedure on the eCandidat platform*
2- Once your online application has been validated and payment has been received, your application is finalized
3- Be on the lookout for a confirmation email; you will receive your Admission Letter
4- The Summer School coordinator will contact you to provide further information relating to the course and your arrival

The registration fee covers tuition fees and cultural visits; students from INSA Toulouse – INP partner institutions also benefit from the Toul’Box package (pickup from the train station or airport, assistance with administrative formalities, and help in finding accommodation)
Please note that this fee does not include travel, accommodation, meals and other living expenses.
Fees
Regular fees: €300 / week
Reduced fees: €150 / week for students from an INP or INSA Toulouse partner institution
Payment is made through the eCandidat platform

I really liked, enjoyed and recommend the Summer School French course at INSA. It was a great experience to learn, improve and train my French before the classes at INSA. We had talking, reading and a little of grammar with an amazing teacher that talked slowly, clearly and answered all the questions. For me, French Summer School was a very important event as soon as I arrived in France. Attending it really developed my communication skills and helped me break the language barrier and fear of speaking French. The lessons were very interactive and group-based, focusing on practising communication skills.
